Pulsation damper principle of operation
Pulsation damper-a device for damping oscillations of the pumped medium arising from the operation of diaphragm pumps. The diaphragm pump creates an unstable fluid flow. Pulsation dampers form an almost continuous flow of the pumped medium.
Consider the principle of the damper from the Italian company DEBEM.
Pulsation damper principle of operation
Automatic Diaphragm Dampers EQUAFLUX controlled by compressed air and designed to smooth out the pulsation of the liquid after the pump.
This is achieved by using - membranes, inside the damper on the liquid side and airside on the other. Compressed air creates a pneumatic extinguishing cushion, which in turn produces self-regulation depending on the load caused by the pressure impulse of the fluid produced by the diaphragm pump.
