 Application. Peristaltic (hose) pumps are applied to pumping highly viscous liquids containing solid particles, nodular deposit and thread, highly solid liquids, chemically active liquids as well as liquids subject to mechanical impact, and those with a wide temperature range.

THE WAY IT WORKS

Inlet. The liquid inlet is carried out due to pipe flexibility, which allows pipe recovering to its master mold after the rollers pass through. Increased interior tube space leads to a dilution and absorption of liquids. The interior part of the pump housing and the roller clamp fitted one to another with high accuracy. They have certain dimentions, which ensures equal pressure distribution in the tube, and, therefore, ensures a perfect self-priming and a long service life of the tube. There are no valves.

Liquid transferal. Liquid passage occurs in the interior space of the tube limited by clamping rollers in the direction of rotor rotation.

Delivery. Roller rolls through a pipe and pushes contained fluid.

NORTON hoses are manufactured with high precision to avoid blockages and achieve a smaller volume of product output. These pumps are easy to operate and maintain. The pump housing is made of cast aluminum, it has a robust construction and painted with paint containing epoxy resin. Roller clamp is made of anodized aluminum. In addition, the axle and bearings have fixed measures.

Speed of 35 rpm is suitable for highly viscous liquids (polyelectrolyte) or for liquids,  the structure of which should remain unchanged  (high-quality wines)
