Double Diaphragm Pumps AODD
AODD Double Diaphragm Pumps are air-operated double diaphragm pumps, abbreviated AODD from Air-Operated Double Diaphragm.
DEBEM air-driven double diaphragm pumps can not only pump fluids, but can also transfer certain difficult-to-pump materials by combining the advantages of a suction pump, submersible pump, screen pump, slurry pump, and admixture pump, etc.
DEBEM double diaphragm pumps do not require water filling to start the suction. The suction height reaches 7 m. The horizontal delivery distance reaches 70 m. The outlet pressure is at least 6-8 kg / cm2.
DEBEM double diaphragm pumps have good performance and a wide flow area. The maximum permissible grain diameter is 8 mm. The damage caused by sludge and impurities to the pump is relatively small.
The lift height and flow rate can be step-lessly adjusted by opening the airflow valve (regulation of the compressed air pressure is in the range from 1 to 7 kg / cm2).
This pump has no rotating parts and no seals (collars on rotating shafts). The diaphragm completely separates the pumped medium (liquid) from the working parts of the pump and the working medium (air). The transmitted medium cannot get outside, which prevents dangerous effects on the environment and on the safety of the human body when pumping toxic, flammable, or aggressive substances.
The pump does not use electricity. It is safe and reliable when used in flammable and explosive locations.
The pump can be operated immersed in the pumped medium.
The pump is reliable and easy to use. To start (stop) it, you just need to open (close) the air supply valve. Lack of material for pumping, as well as sudden or long-term stoppages in operation, will not damage the pump. In the event of an overload, the pump stops automatically for self-protection. When the load returns to normal values, it can also start automatically.
Simple design and minimum wear parts. The pump is simple in design, installation, and maintenance.
The substance carried by the pump does not come into contact with the pneumatic valve, drive train parts, etc. Unlike other pump types, performance will not decrease steadily due to wear on the rotor, gear, blades, etc.
The pump is capable of pumping viscous liquids (viscosity no more than 50,000 centipoises).
The pump does not need lubrication. Even during downtime, there is no need for lubrication.
